The story of my life...

I find it hard to describe my career as it is in transition right now.  For ten years I worked for a transportation construction company giving my whole life to them.  During my tenth year the stress and unforgiving hours made me want more for my life.  At the beginning of this year I quit my job and moved to Argentina to work in equine therapy.   I loved every moment there and would probably still be there had I not taken a trip to Bolivia.  I planned on staying for three days in Bolivia and ended up stuck for twenty-one days throughout Bolivia and Chile during a snow storm desperately trying to get back home to Argentina.  During one of those long nights during which I thought that I was going to freeze to death, I decided to move back home to the U.S.  I think I figured out there that I really wanted to do more with my life.  While life in Argentina was fun and stressfree, I knew that I should be pushing myself more towards a new career.  Almost every big decision of my life takes a drastic story that pushes rather than nudges me into the right direction.

  1. Your life sounds adventurous. Seems like you have enough material to write a story, or even for a novel… Two of my favorite writers were born in Argentina – Jorge Luis Borges and Julio Cortázar. Since I was 19 I dreamed to visit South America. Now you made me think… maybe it is not such a hot idea after all…Thank you for sharing
